Today I want to share my favorite books that I read in 2018. Note, these books were not necessarily published in 2018 I simply read them in 2018.
1. Atados a una estrella by Claudia Celis
One of the first books that truly impacted my life. I decided what I wanted to do with my life thanks to this book. The characters are human and that makes this book so much more impactful.
2. Smile
My favorite book of all time. i found this book when I needed it the most. And upon re-read I can still see why this book is my favorite. Truly amazing accepting yourself story.
3. Sanctum
Creepy, haunting and hard to put down. This book kept me up at night with plot twist that no one is able to see coming the whole Asylum trilogy will keep you on the edge of your seat.
4. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
Not the best written book and it definitely has its flaws but you can’t help but root for the characters. Simply, cute story that makes you believe in love and finding your soul mate
5. Illuminae
Mixed media book and my first science fiction book. I read this to expand my horizons and I found a world that I was drawn to and was left wanting more.
6. Delirium
This book got me out of a reading slump. It was captivating and fun and it truly made you wonder what would happen if we couldn’t decide who we wanted to love.
7. To all the boys I have loved before
Nice and simply writing. Perfect for someone who wants to get out of a reading slump. Amazing family dynamics and overall a cute story.
8. Firelight by Sophie Jordan
One of my favorite books of all time. Definitely not a masterpiece but it is highly entertaining. Amazing dramatic book filled with romance, danger, action and family.
9. The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown
Extremely descriptive yet hooking. Dan Brown can convince you of almost everything and i had to keep reminding myself that most of this is fiction.
10. Angels and Demons by Dan Brown
Thrilling, brilliant, mind blowing. The author writes in a way that just keeps you going because you want to know more. You won’t be able to put it down.
